This is my local Italian restaurant. Right next to the hideout. We have three in close proximity. This one is by far the best. Primarily because they don't allow smoking inside their dinning room. I don't know about you but I don't like eating and getting a whiff of smoke all in the same breath. The other Italian restaurant down the road that's the experience we had. No thanks! The food here has always been consistent and even on take out orders. Favorites include veal piccata, garlic knots and the pizza. They have specials posted on the entrance and lunch menu specials on the table. Waitresses are attentive and the inside of the restaurant looks very clean and well maintained. There is plenty of free parking upfront.

Yum Italian! Get garlic knots... they're superb, but don't plan on any kisses afterwards cause I am pretty sure since dinner I've offended at least 10 strangers. Everything on the menu that we had was what you had hoped for when you ordered it except for the starter salad and the calamari... although they weren't horrible... they weren't great. This is a great spot to come with family and enjoy a good night out.

We had a top notch experience. Our party of 8 from NJ knows good Italian food and we were very impressed. We will certainly be back for lunch and dinner before we head home.

Went with my family for dinner. The restaurant is straight out of the 90s. Patrons donning a selection of camo. Servers are nice but not very good at their jobs. Service was slow and they were fairly intrusive when plating and busing the table. I felt food was priced relatively high given the quality of the restaurant as well. The menu also had 5+ spelling errors including the word "Budweiser", I mean come on really.... The names on the bottle.

Still no attempt to update. Neither the help, decor, or food. Out of the 1970's but with worse food.

Definitely needs a renovation. Reminds me of something on kitchen nightmares due to the old decor including olive oil with herbs in bottles that is moldy. crumbs between cushions on benches. GROSSED ME OUT but we tried the food and it was ok at best. I hat tortellini Alfredo and it was over cooked but sauce was ok. I wouldn't go back but my husband thought it was alright so he said he would for lack of any other place in the area.

It's more than just pizza and calzones, we were back in the area for a week in early July and enjoyed two more excellent meals at Trio's.

Great family pizza and Italian restaurant, absolutely delicious broccoli with garlic and eggplant parm. We have been coming to trios every summer for the past 6 years and they never disappoint.

Being a New Yorker I've considered myself an expert on any kind of Italian sandwich with a name that ends in "Parmagiano". I'm also happy to say that so are the chef's at Trio's. Since becoming a homeowner in the area, I've been to Trio's on numerous occasions over the last year and most recently stopped in for lunch. The meatball parm hero made a wonderful lunchtime meal, accompanied by a delicious slice of Trio's home made pizza and an ice cold beer. The meat was flavorful, tender, and juicy, nestled between two halves of an authentic fresh Italian hero roll and kept warm under a blanket of semi-sweet tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. Definitely genuine and totally satisfying. Don't miss this great sandwich the next time you're in the area.

We were at the HideOut for a week in June and took the family here one night for dinner. We got stuck with a bad server who seemed very uninterested in helping us. Even the busboy had an attitude when we asked him for rolls and then later for steak sauce. This is one of those places that's trying to be a nice Italian restaurant, but they should just stick with pizza and sandwiches. Poor service and very average food.

Ehhhhhhh...I should probably give this two stars but I'm feeling generous. Atmosphere is quite run down...I imagine with the amount of business they do, they could easily afford a reno. Service was mediocre at best - we were definitely bothering our server by needing things and she was sure to make herself scarce. We had enjoyed a nice afternoon in our lake swimming and drinking so we were quite merry - who wouldn't love us? hahahahaahaaaaa Anyway, pizza was fine, prices were good, booze were cheap. If you want some pizza, or pasta, or a sub (aka a "hoegie"?) or something...you can get it here. I will definitely stamp my feed and command to sit in the bar versus the dining room in the future.

I'd rather give them 2.5 stars...but I can't do that. The food is mediocre, the service is adequate, the drinks are drinkable, the decor is old and drab. Don't expect much, and you won't be disappointed.

Food is better than local area and its as close as you get to NYC food. Pizza is pretty good also. The service was fast and the waitress was accommodating to my kids which means a lot when your vacationing with kids.

We did take here- 1/2 plain and 1/2 meatball pizza and spinach with garlic. not a bad pie, a lot better than backdraft which I hated, but nothing sensational. counter staff was friendly and my wife and stepson loved the spinach with garlic. would like to try a full diner here if we can get my daughter to sit for more than 5 minutes.

Not a bad place for this friendly little Poconos town. Was here over the weekend to grab a bite to eat while visiting friends. The food was decent and the service was so-so but the atmosphere was a delight. It was good to hang out with the locals especially being an outsider. Oh and the food and drinks were relatively reasonably priced.

Being from NY, it's tough to find good pizza in PA. But Trio's comes pretty close.

Food is ok, serivce ehh. I am a TRUE local as in...didn't move here from NJ or NY! and there are better places to go. Yes we call them hoagies!

I am a local. Have given this place several tries, figuring I must be hitting an off night each time I go. It is consistently "off" with lackluster food and service. The owner/manager is a NYC transplant and extremely unfriendly. I fail to understand why this place is so busy, other than the fact that they have a bar and The Hideout feeds the parking lot.

Decent Italian food with a nice staff and ok prices. Nice atmosphere for a little bit of a "classy" dinner.
